2024 plant sale

Our vegetable and herb plants are now on sale through our ONLINE STORE. There are two options for purchasing plants again this year! Our popup sale is returning to Baere Brewing Company (320 Broadway, Denver) on Saturday, May 11th from 12:30pm - 5:00pm. Orders can be placed ahead of time for pickup at the sale or you can just stop by and shop for plants in person.

This year we will also have a second plant sale on Sunday May 12th at our normal pickup location, 1332 Kalamath Street, from 11:00am - 4:00pm where you can stop by and browse.

The virtual plant sale is also available for those who can't make the pop-up sales. We will be offering limited pickup days at 1332 Kalamath Street, Denver on select Fridays and Saturdays in May. Click here to check our current pickup schedule. There will be no order pickups at 1332 Kalamath Street on May 11th. All orders placed for May 11th pickup will be fulfilled at the popup sale.

The Vegetable starts are almost ready

This years vegetable and herb starts are hardening off and nearly ready to plant. They have been out in the sun every day possible for the last month. Go to OUR STORE and pick some for your garden. We have an expanded selection of tomatoes and peppers this year and have brought back kale, green onions and leaks

Fall Update From the Farm

It has been a great growing season and the vegetable beds have been producing heavy yields. Here is a quick photo tour around our backyard from this morning (Sept 25th.)

Planting season for cool weather crops has arrived and soon it will be time for everything else to go in the ground. Make sure your beds are up to the task by testing the soil and amending if necessary

Don't forget to water in the winter. If you have drought sensitive trees or new plantings that are still establishing themselves the best way to help them through a dry winter like this year is to water them throughout the season. You can water any time the air and ground temperatures are over 40 degrees and there is no snow cover
